Prayer Points
 
1. Pray about the selection of a new Supreme Court Justice.
We anticipate that a decision will be made quite soon and that the candidate will likely come from Atlantic Canada. 
 
2. Please pray for the Ethics Committee as they meet again on Aug. 11th to continue to look into election financing issues.  Specifically pray for the chair M.P. Paul Szabo that he will lead with wisdom and fairness. 
 
3. Pray for Faytene Kryskow and her team who lead "TheCRY" that is happening on Aug. 23rd.  With a month to go all the detail work begins to consume their thoughts and energy.

     The summer is flying by as our staff take some time for vacations, and as we prepare for our CampFire and Nazarite Program.  If you drop in on us you will also see a number of renovation projects underway as we use the nice weather to fix necessary repairs.
 
   Our YouTube has been watched about 650 times in the last couple of weeks.  If you haven't seen it yet why not take 2 minutes to watch it right now.  (Just click on the YouTube icon below). YouTube
 
 
   We have also now had over 900 people sign the Residential School Apology and plan on presenting it to the Association of First Nations when it hits the 1000 mark.  If you know of someone who would like to sign it, we encourage you to forward this email to them.

  Closing Thoughts: Last newsletter we had a pic of Richard & Rob working on the front garden.  That was the "before" shot. Fran planted some colourful flowers and our grass seed has sprouted a new lawn.

   We are very excited about our Nazarite program that runs for 3 months this Fall.  We already have 10 young adults who have been accepted into the program and a few others seriously considering it.  Please pray for these people as they raise funds and make final preparations to join us in mid September.
