In recent days we have posted pictures of Pro-Life demonstrations, Canada Day events and written on topics like the Supreme Court, the Order of Canada, Human Rights Tribunals and featured other national prayer ministries like Intercessors for Canada.

Prayer Points
 
1. Pray for wisdom for leaders in the various pro-life movements as they strategize how to continue to voice their concerns about the awarding of the Order of Canada to Dr. Henry Morgantaler.
 
2. Please continue to pray for your M.P. as they spend the summer months in their home riding, that it would be a time to reconnect, recreate and renew their family relationships.  
 
3. Pray for Faytene Kryskow and her team who lead  "TheCRY" that is happening on Aug. 23rd.  Let's intercede that thousands of believers will attend this wonderful event and that all their costs will be supplied abundantly.

     We are so grateful to all the individuals and congregations who participated in Government Prayer Sunday a couple of weeks ago.  It was an amazing success from coast to coast.
   Reports are coming in every day about the creative ways that churches made this a special day on their calendar.  We also are receiving cheques every day from the Toonie Offering that was raised in so many congregations.

Dominion Day Prayer Rally. 

Canada Day Rally 2008 

     On July 1st we collaborated with the National Prayer Team of the Christian & Missionary Alliance to hold an outdoor prayer rally for the nation on our front lawn. The Lord provided a beautiful day and a great finale as we all headed to watch the fireworks at the end of the evening.
 
     Earlier in the day our team had joined 300,000 others to celebrate our nation around Parliament Hill and then we had met our immediate neighbours during a street party on Myrand Ave.
 

  Closing Thoughts:  We continue to use the summer months to do need repairs, run a youth camp, take vacations and spend extended time together with our NHOP Board and staff.
