1. Pray for the many Christian ministries in Ottawa who interact with government officials that our speech would be seasoned with grace and we would reflect the Lord's character in all that we do.
 
2.  Please continue to pray for our Prime Minister, Stephen Harper and his family.  The team we had with us this week felt a special call to pray for his wife and family.
 
3. Pray for Bill C-30 as the Aboriginal Affairs Committee seeks to pass this bill which would address many of the land claims issues in our land.
 
4.  Praise God with us for His ongoing faithfulness to us at NHOP with financial provision to meet our operating budget and special projects.

    Rob and Richard had a great time last weekend in Thunder Bay and Dryden, Ontario, meeting many new friends and reconnecting with some former staff.  It was encouraging to see how passionate these intercessors were in Northwestern Ontario.
 
   This week we have a team of 8 from Morden and 2 from nearby Virden, Manitoba.  This is team leader Glenda Schwarz's third time back at NHOP.  Pictured below is the team as they met with the Hon. Vic Toews, the President of the Treasury Board.

   Due to a couple of cancellations we have the weeks of April 21-25, and May 26-30 open for bookings.  Also if you have a smaller team give us a call about where we might be able to fit you in with an existing booking.  We want to provide full prayer coverage on Parliament Hill.

We try to answer all your questions and give you all the resources you need right on our NHOP website.  As you begin to recruit others for your team you can encourage them to watch a video clip or take a virtual tour.

For intercessors in the Ottawa region, we want to extend a special invitation to join a day of training with Roger & Sue Mitchell on Sat. May 17th.
 
The Mitchells are known internationally as strategic mobilizers of intercession. Having led several prayer movements in the U.K. they also now oversee Nightwatch Europe which coordinates prayer for the 48 nations of that region.  Over the years they have worked with leadership teams in cities such as Mississauga, Toronto and Hamilton, as well as with prayer movements like Watchmen for the Nations.
 
 
Due to demand we are already looking at changing our location for this event.
 
  Our team continues to travel.  This next week Richard will be in Halifax and then Rob and Richard will be in Summerside, PEI.  We would love to meet with you if you are in these areas of the country.
