Come to NHOP

prayer and bible  Prayer Points

1. Praise God for answering months of sustained prayer for Bill C-2, the omnibus Crime legislation.  It cleared the Senate without amendments earlier this week and was signed into law yesterday, Feb. 28th.
(Read our Blog comments here.)

2.  Let's continue to pray for the divine light of exposure to reveal all that needs to be cleaned up in Parliament.  Pray for truth to prevail and that innocent people are not maligned.  If you read the papers you will know that another scandal has hit the front pages this week.

3. Pray for the Supreme Court.  They continue to hand down key decisions every week.  Lets pray for true justice to flow from those benches.

Check out our new website!

After many months of discussion, design and writing we thank the Lord for a fully re-created bilingual website.  It's still at the same web address - www.nhop.ca - but if you bookmarked it in the past you will need to refresh it in your "favourites" column.

You will notice many new resources, pictures, links and special features.  We will keep adding more.  It is meant to be a very visual experience.  Check out the Gallery.  Your team might be featured.  If you have group pictures of your team visit to NHOP, we would love to post them to the growing album.

We want to say a special "thank you" to Dominic Poirier of Studio JustGrafx for coaching us on the new template and troubleshooting all our challenges.  We are also grateful to Philippe Germain of Visionnaire Communications Inc who translated the entire mirror site into the French language.  Encourage your Francophone friends to check us out!

For the last several years Alan Gilman has been our webmaster and has done an excellent job responding to our constant changes and needs.  He deserves a medal!

Come to NHOP!

Our primary activity here at NHOP is hosting weekly visiting prayer teams from every corner of the country.
June 1st team 2007

The "Get Involved" page on our new website has all the details about organizing a team from your church or region.

We are still booking teams for the next few months. Call us about a week that you might be interested in.

There is a "Special Opportunity" the week of March 10-14.  This session is designed for individuals or couples who are not able to join their local team, but want to come and join a "make-up" team from all across the country.  Please call us right away about this special opportunity in mid March.  There are still a few spots left.

Also that week on Wed. March 12th we are having another "NHOP for Newcomers" day, where local Ottawa folks can come between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM to join us for some teaching, lunch and a session in Parliament.  Book your spot today!

There is also room for a small team to join us the week of April 14-18.  Call us if this might work for your group.

If you are planning on attending the Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast on May 15th, please consider spending an afternoon of prayer with us on May 14th as we lift up that very important national event to the Lord.

Thanks for standing with us as we represent you in our Nation's Capital.
