1. M.P.s are back in their home ridings this next week. This is a good time to personally encourage them. Pray for them that they may get some more family time.

2. The new omnibus anti-Crime bill (C-2) which includes the raising of the age of consent has been limited to a 3 week committee process. Let's continue to pray for the progress of this legislation and the Justice Committee chaired by M.P. Art Hanger.

3. Thank you for praying for NHOP. We would love to have your prayers for the school of Intercession next week in Calgary.

Needed:

DVD/CD Duplicator

Here at NHOP we have a wishlist - things that would make our life easier or would help us be more productive, but that haven't been budgeted for this year. One item on the list has now become urgent - and that is a DVD/CD duplicator.

We are regularly preparing "promotional" packages in order to make known the vision of the National House of Prayer, and are receiving many requests for copies of our School of Prayer and National School of Intercession courses. Duplicating one cd or dvd at a time on someone's computer has become a time-consuming task.

We are actually making 1400 copies of some of our material over the next couple of weeks.

We have now been able to source a very reasonably priced 1 to 7 duplicator with a hard drive at a cost of about $1,000.00. If you feel led by the Lord to help us purchase this machine, please let us know.

Spring Internship

It will run from March 21 to June 13, 2008.

We've enjoyed having a team from Kitchener, Ontario with us this week. Their pastor, Harold Albrecht is now an M.P. so they had special opportunities to see the inner workings of Parliament.
They had the extra benefit of joining our interns with this week's guest visitors, His Excellency Dennis Ignatius and his wife Cherry who lead the Malaysian embassy here in Ottawa. Like other guest speakers they shared their journey of faith and talked about what it means to be ambassadors of Christ.

It's less than a week away

It's not too late to attend this great training opportunity to learn from some great speakers like Rob Parker, Sara Maynard, Kayle Mumby.

Please note the changes to the program at the NSoI in Calgary. Due to the feedback we received from local leaders we have decided to make it a weekend school. It will now begin at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday Nov. 8 and run all day Fri. Nov. 9 and Sat. Nov. 10. The cost has been revised to reflect the change and is now only $75.00. The weekend-only rate is $50.00.
