Ukraine/Romania Trip
Brian in Jamaica

(Rob & Pastor Sergei his translator)

As you read this Rob Parker, our director, along with Mike and Sharon Molnar are finishing up their ministry in the Ukraine and will move on to Romania to encourage intercessors and pastors in their national prayer effort.

We will have a more detailed report for you in our next newsletter.

Thanks to all of you who contributed to help sponsor intercessors attending these training sessions.  In just a few days we saw the Lord provided $5500 toward that need.  This was great, since we ended up having to sponsor even more leaders than we originally had thought.

Greetings,

We launched our 12 weeek Fall Internship Program this past week with 4 new ladies from across the nation.

Fall Interns

Pictured here are Sarah Craig from Sudbury, Ont. (front right) Jenn Bodnar from Toronto, Ont. (front left) Dale Woolley from Port Alberni, B.C. (back right) and Kaaren Robinson from Victoria, B.C. (back left)

They've dived into a full schedule which includes 5 classes a week, chores around the house, volunteering in an M.P.s office, helping out a local inner city mission and of course joining in on our regular prayer activities.
With our Prayer Missionaries they have also started an early morning prayer watch from 6-8 each weekday morning.

Newest Prayer Missionary

Joan & Earl Jones

Joan Jones, shown here with her son Earl, arrived to join our growing number of Prayer Missionaries just a few days ago, but has soon made us feel like she has been with us all along.  She comes to us with experience as a retired teacher, a missionary in India, and as a great-grandmother.

Prayer Missionaries commit up to a year of their life to focused intercession at NHOP.

The dates for this week-long school have been changed to accommodate those who may only be able to take in the weekend portion.  We are very glad to be again working together with Cityscape Prayer Ministries to train Canadian intercessors in Western Canada.  You can get the application for the Calgary school at the website below. Complete details and the poster will be available on our NHOP website in the next few days.

It's not too early to start planning your 2008 visit to Ottawa.  Call us about how to prepare a prayer team and schedule your week here at NHOP.

We still have room for a team this Fall during the week of Oct. 15-19 when Parliament begins sitting again.  Also we can add smaller teams to other groups in some of the weeks over Oct. and Nov.

Thanks for standing with us in prayer.
Representing you in the nation's capital,

              the NHOP team
