Dear friend,
Spring has sprung in the nation's capital. Here to
usher it in was a team from Nova Scotia. The tulips
are starting to bloom and the robins are hopping
about looking for worms.
We are looking forward to a very busy Spring season
with teams here for the next ten weeks.
We've added a number of downloads to our website
including some new video. Come and check it out!

· Pray for Canada and Governmental
Leaders
· Partner with National House of Prayer -
Toonie Offering
We are excited to launch the first annual National
House of Prayer Sunday on June 3rd, 2007. This
will
be a day where individuals and churches across the
nation will be called to pray for the government of
Canada. We invite you and your church to consider
participating on this important day in two areas:
1) A dedicated prayer during the
morning
service specifically to pray for Governmental Leaders.
(resources on the website)
2) A Toonie Offering which will
provide
opportunity to involve individuals of all ages, young
and old to support the vision and ministry that the
National House of Prayer carries for our nation.
Check out the NHOP Sunday Resources on our
website (after April 23rd) at www.nhop.ca which will
include:

know by hitting reply and list your church with others
across the nation or call us at 613-789-4907.
We are grateful for the faithful support that this
ministry has received cross- denominationally from
the beginning and we look forward to a great day on
June 3, 2007. Please forward this to anyone who you
think would be interested to participate with us.

Mexico Report by Rob Parker |
 |
(That's Rob in the white cowboy hat on the left along
with fellow Canadians Wanda, Sheryl and Phil)
I was privileged and honoured to be part of a
Canadian delegation at a North American Prayer
Congress in Mexico City. Murray Dodds of Calgary led
the Canadians (gringos), to help take a lead in
reconciliation issues, and in casting vision for a future
networking of prayer between Canada, United States
and Mexico.
We were pleasantly surprised at the exuberance of
the Mexicans, whose apparent redemptive gifts are joy
and music!
I had the privilege of calling up children and youth to
be anointed to pray. The front of the hall crowded with
a response so overwhelming that I had to call not only
on my fellow Canadians to help, but also on our U.S.
brothers and it turned out to be an awesome example
of working together.
Up to 700,000 took part in a prayer march on Easter
Saturday, with the Canadians and Americans in a
place of honour, leading the way. The theme of this
march was to bring the Glory of God into Mexico City.
Words cannot express the awesome sense of God
doing something wonderful in response to the cries of
the Mexicans. At least 2/3 of the crowd stayed in the
City Square all night to bring in the Resurrection
Sunday.
Wanda Fost expressed our last day very well: "The five
Canadians that remained in Mexico for an extra day,
were blessed to attend a local church service with
3000 exuberant, on fire, radical and tireless Mexicans.
The worship went on for hours. Not a word was in
English yet we understood every word in our spirits."

Prayer Points |
 |
1. Pray for the progress of Bill C-22 which
would raise the age of sexual consent. It is getting to
close to being sent back to the House of Commons
for its final reading.
2. Let's pray for integrity for all our politicians.
There is a constant temptation to take shortcuts,
shade the truth, and malign opponents. Pray that they
would choose to take the high road and live by
righteous principles.
3. We would encourage special prayer for Gordon
O'Connor the minister of National Defence. He
needs great wisdom as he makes decisions about
the military as it serves in Afghanistan and around the
world.
