I don't know if you had the opportunity to see Rosie O'Donnell on Oprah last week, but if you didn't, you really missed a great show. I thought the show was very well thought out and insightful. I enjoyed listening to both Rosie & Oprah banter back & forth about Rosie's life, her x-wife, her new girlfriend, her new HBO documentary (A Family is a Family is a Family: A Rosie ODonnell Celebration.) and her love for her children. The one thing that really stuck with me for days after the show was her comment on living an authentic life. She mentioned that it has always been important to her that she follow her heart and though leaving her wife (Kelli Carpenter) was one of the hardest decision that she has ever made in her life, she needed to be true to herself and live a life of authenticity.

I believe truly living in this way moves your spirit towards honoring and accepting who you really are and by following your heart's wisdom, your spirit--you allow yourself to shine in the world on your own terms. It's never easy to face yourself and ask the hard questions, but once you understand what is really important to you in your life, I believe you get closer to living your truth. I believe that 2010 is the year of living an authentic life. Don't you think so?

The LSpot has a number of fun & exciting events coming up this year and we can't wait to share another exciting year with you! By the way, the women of LSpot Palm Springs (all of you) donated over $7,000.00 last year to various charities here in the Coachella Valley. Congratulations ladies!!

Have A Beautiful Valentines Day!

Thanks to you all, it's working! Through our monthly newsletter, we can spread the word to more women about what we have to offer. Please take a minute to forward this to your friends that arent on our mailing list so they can get in on the action. And keep us posted with whats going on!
