| Handbells by Judy Kirchoff |
 |
|
Praise the Lord with music and Ring, Ring, Ring!
Purchasing handbells is no longer a dream. Our
newest faith mission of having handbells at Immanuel
is well on the way to becoming a reality. We currently
have about $3,200 in the handbell fund and we will
need $8,500 to purchase the 3 octave set of bells.
The handbell ministry team will be selling butter
braids for $10.00 each on two Sundays, July 19th and
July 26th. There will be some samples of the butter
braids at the outdoor service on the 19th. We would
like the whole congregation to have some ownership
in the handbells, whether through contributions, or
sewing material (which is needed in the future for the
pads) or making music stands or playing the bells.
Look for the bell ministry envelopes which will inquire
if you would like to play bells, would like to purchase a
bell for $230, or would like to donate any dollar
amount in honor of or in memory of a loved one.
Thank you for taking an active part in this new ministry.
