Dorchester Flashback

For the past two decades, the Codman Square Health Center has hosted a holiday toy party where over 500 children and families in the community recieve gift-wrapped toys donated by Toys4Tots and other charitable organizations. In addition to the toy giveaway, there are games, music, food and drink.

For many families in the community, this event is the only opportunity for children to recieve a gift during the holidays. This event has always been a success because of the generous time and effort of volunteers. By volunteering just two to three hours, you will be putting a smile on over 500 kids' faces.

Other amazing volunteer opportunities can be found by visiting mydorchester.org/volunteer, or by contacting Arjun Verma at 617-822-8269.
