The community is cordially invited to MyDorchester Night 2011, an evening celebrating the vibrancy and vitality of Dorchester. Get ready to dive into the rich culture and diversity of the Dot on June 10. MyDorchester Night will feature food, performances, music, art and awards - emphasizing the positive aspects of this community.

This event is free and open to the public, and will feature performances by the Seekers of Knowledge dancers, a Vietnamese zither player, members of the Dorchester Symphony Orchestra, break dancing, krumping and much more! Attendees will receive complementary raffle tickets as they sign in. Prizes include gift certificates to McKennas, Savin Scoop, and tickets to the Uphams Corner Main Street's upcoming Urban Safari at the Franklin Park Zoo!

Join us at the Great Hall in Codman Square to network with your neighbors and enjoy the lively talent and energy this community embodies. Between performances, help us honor volunteers, youth and community activists within our neighborhoods for their dedicated work. Mark your calendars for a night to remember!

Special thanks to our sponsors who have helped make this event happen: Close to Home, the Dorchester Arts Collaborative, the Dorchester Environmental Health Coalition, Carney Hospital, American Home Realty, Fields Corner Main Street, College Bound Dorchester, Four Corners Main Street and St. Mark's Area Main Streets.
