Dorchester Illustration of the Week
This week's illustration is a photo of the second Building of the First Methodist Episcopal Church
"In 1829 the Methodists replaced their first building with a second,
which we see today. They worshipped here until 1874. The church
buildings have always occupied approximately the same spot at the
intersection of Washington Street and Lower Mills where the A-frame
United Methodist Church now stands." The Illustration of the Day is brought to us by the Dorchester Atheneum. If you would like to be added to the list, please contact Earl Taylor by email or call 781-272-6700 |

This increase in 'social capital' will result in a community that is safer, healthier and more vital. For more information click here.
The mission of DotWell is to work in collaboration with our founding health center partners - Codman Square Health Center and Dorchester House Multi-Service Center -
to provide integrated clinical and community services that address
health disparities, build social capital, and meet the complex needs of
our communities.
