Hi Everyone,

We had a fun National Scrapbook Day this past weekend. The ladies got quite crazy at the Saturday crop and I learned how to make fire starters. Conversations go in weird directions sometimes at the crops. We had three lucky winners for our prize give aways this weekend. Cathy Spencer won the tote full of scrapping goodies, Peggy Cash won the $50 gift certificate and Renee Lecastas won the four layouts of the week. Congratulations ladies.

Cindy and Tina were busy creating fun cards for this week. On this first card, Cindy used the distress stains for a beautiful background on this card. All cards will be out thru Saturday while supplies last. Just $2.

I think we should have a whole weekend to celbrate the hard work we do as moms. We are closing early at 6:00 PM on Friday and Saturday and we are closed on Sunday so that all of us can have a restful (hopefully) Mother's Day. So, be sure to send your husbands in now thru Saturday for Gift Certificates.

We will be making 5 cards using a set of gorgeous stamps from Kaiser, and you will get your very own set to take home! Kits will not be available for this class.

*Sharp scissors - this is a must because we are doing a bunch of cutting

*Copic markers (if you own them, please bring them for your own usage):

*Distress ink in Tea Dye and a dauber (if you own this color please bring it for your own usage)

Join us for 14 great projects all just $2 each. We will have a variety of cards and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11:00 and create as many Demos you want. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. We will have kits available for all the demos so you can even make these at home.

If you complete 6 demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your regular priced purchases for the day (not including special orders or other sale special offers).

Quick Quotes Fun Summer Canvas Banner with Bonus Project

OK, I thought that title might draw some attention - lol! Really,I do have lots of Fancy Pants papers and embellishments, though. I just love their lines and lately I am really,REALLY loving the Fancy Pants Brag Books! I am using them just as I'm using the fabulous SMASH books and products to create fun and easy mini-scrapbooks. The Fancy Pants Brag Books are especially great because they already include lots of blank lined-pages which are perfect for journaling or covering with papers and photos, plus built-in pocket pages and clear photo sleeves. For this month's Design Team I used one of the Brag Books along with the papers and embellishments from the WaveSearcher line to create a book chock full of memories of beach vacations through the years. To keep things simple, the photos appear in ramdom (vs chronalogical) order. Using this book I was able to scrapbook almost an entire box full of beach pics in just a few hours!!! Here's a few photos but you'll have to stop in the store to see the book in it's entirety. And if you like it (and I think you might! After all, what's not to like?!?!?)and/or you've already been using the Fancy Pants and/or SMASH products, please consider joining me at the next SMASH crop on Friday, June 1st. You'll be amazed and get lots of creative ideas from the many samples you'll see that night. For example: on the cover of my Fancy Pants beach book (shown here) I used my crop-o-dile to punch a hole and thread a beach-themed key chain. I got that idea from someone's book. THEN someone else saw that on MY book and suggested I could string one or more beach telescope pics! I LOVE that idea and I'll be doing it soon! Try out the Fancy Pants Brag Books and kits soon and see for yourself how fun it is to play with these great products.
