Sorry for the back to back emails but the UPS man brought many new things today. New Inky Antics, Darcie's and Doodlebug. I also made some updates to the April Calendar like adding more crops extra classes.

The new Doodlebug is adorable. There are cute Easter papers, fun Spring things and a great boy line.

We are gearing up for our visit from Nathalie Metivier from Magenta. We received 3 boxes of supplies for her class and she is bringing a trunk show! You can still sign up for her class, we still have seats available.

tbeck5 Nathalie M�tivier started in her childhood to draw and exhibit her work. With her sister H�l�ne and Daniel, her brother-in-law, she helped, 20 years ago, to create Magenta Rubber Stamps. One of her many tasks is to be part of the creative team. She drew many of the images as well as she invented the "direct-to-paper" and the "Ghost" coloring techniques. In addition, she is a certified Ranger instructor. She appeared several times on Carol Duvall Show as well as on Magenta's own videos. She is co-author with Leslie Conron Carola of the books Magenta Style Paper Magic and Magenta Style Paper Enchantments. Most of all, she likes to share ideas and techniques with others.

Alcohol inks, Distress inks and colored pencils combined with Magenta stamps and chipboards are the products and techniques experimented to create these three unique cards. Please bring your basic tool kit and Colored Pencils, Pencil sharpener, paint brush, Glossy Accents, Scissors and Adhesive. If you have favorite colors of Alcohol inks and the alcohol ink tool, please bring them.

Wacky Wednesday Cards

Cindy whipped up two great cards for this week. Since we have a big event on Wednesday we thought we would put these out a day early. They will be available thru Thursday. Just $2 each.

Scrapping 101 with Gina
Do you want to get started scrapbooking but don't know where or how to start? Are you overwhelmed by all the choices when you come in to shop? Do you have boxes of photos under the bed and don't know what to do next? Then this is the class for you!

Gina will teach you all you need to know to make your first scrapbook pages. You will learn how to use tools, pick colors and how to adhere your photos safely. Please bring 4-8 photos and you will complete your first page in class. Fee $12

It's all about the embellishments. After Gina helps you pick out the papers and some embellishments to use, you will make 2 pages using photos you bring, Gina will teach you how to use ribbon, fibers, tearing, brads, tags, inking stamping, buttons, chipboard, distressing techniques and flowers. (You will not be making this layout. You will be creating a layout using papers you and Gina pick out. This layout just shows some of the techniques you will learn.) $15

Elizabeth Crafts Glitter class with Tawni. $25

Check out this adorable and funny card I made with MFT stamps and Fancy Pants paper. Apparently I have the sense of humor of many young and adolescent boys (funny, I live with young and adolescent boys) because the sentiment from this stamp set just cracks me up! Leave it to MFT to pair and adorable stamp with a tongue-in-cheek sentiment. If it is hard to see on this post, it says "That's Just Crappie". There are some other cute ones in this set as well, and this set is on order and should be coming in soon.

I practiced shading with my Copics which is something I am continually learning, and of course had to add a little ribbon and some bling. Also attached to this post is better pictures of the cards I posted the other day. My camera does so much better than my scanner!
