We had a great time this weekend learning new techniques and seeing the latest product releases.  Of course, we made time to get some food.  Scrapping is such hard work that we really worked up an appetite.
Tina was nice enough to drive us all to dinner.
Flat Lisa kept getting distracted by the wild life encounters.
This was Flat Lisa's favorite type of restaurant.  Pizza Buffet!
Everyone's favorite pizza was the Chocolate Chip dessert pizza.
Here are the show organizers, Sandy and Paul posing with Flat Lisa.
Once we got down to the work part, Flat Lisa just had to get involved.

BasicGrey was at the show and we LOVED their canvases.  You will be seeing classes with these very soon.
Tina took a class with Marianne Walker from Copic and Marianne drew a little Tina.
Ok, this is not the best photo but it is the only one of all of us.  You can tell it was the end of the day since we all look like we are sleeping.  Except for Flat Lisa who is fresh as a daisy.
We met Jared the owner of Fancy Pants at our show and took a couple of great classes from him.  We were so excited that Jared stopped by the store on Monday on his way to the airport.  He is very nice and his wife designs all the paper lines.  If you haven't played with their brag books yet be sure to watch for upcoming classes.  Good thing we are using Fancy Pants for our Design Team this month.

We are so excited to have one of the creators of Magenta stamp company come visit us.

Nathalie Mtivier started in her childhood to draw and exhibit her work. With her sister Hlne and Daniel, her brother-in-law, she helped, 20 years ago, to create Magenta Rubber Stamps. One of her many tasks is to be part of the creative team. She drew many of the images as well as she invented the "direct-to-paper" and the "Ghost" coloring techniques. In addition, she is a certified Ranger instructor. She appeared several times on Carol Duvall Show as well as on Magenta's own videos. She is co-author with Leslie Conron Carola of the books Magenta Style Paper Magic and Magenta Style Paper Enchantments. Most of all, she likes to share ideas and techniques with others.

Product Review by Cindy

Anyone who knows me knows that my absolute favorite embellishment is ribbon.  And anyone that has ever taken any of my classes knows that I always seal the ends of my ribbon with a lighter so that the ribbon does not fray.  Imaginisce, creators of adorable paper lines and terrific tools, has come out with a new tool that is a must for anyone that likes ribbon and hates the ends fraying.  It is called the Imagicut and I am in love with it.  This little tool cuts and seals the ends of your ribbon at the same time!  It is small, light weight, battery operated, and works like a dream.  Imaginisce says it cuts and seals all kinds of ribbon up to 3" wide and can cut straight, on a diagonal, and like a chevron.  I brought mine home just this past weekend and have been happily playing with it for days while trying to keep my 8 year old away from it (he thinks it is cool too).  I will be bringing it along to my upcoming classes so that you can try it also.

This is just a little enabling from me to you.  I always like to share tools and products that I love.  I am not a paid sponsor for any company (heck, Imaginisce does not even know who I am); I'm just a stamper and a card maker who loves good product.

Want one of your own?  We're happy to order it for you!

Cindy
