 New Dare to Share Challenge

New SMASH Crop Date

 New Paper Smooches,

New Liquid Pearls

New Ice Stickles

Hi Everyone,

We have had a busy week unpacking boxes and planning classes.  We have gotten lots of questions about when are the Bag Lady Bags arriving.  They should be shipping soon.  As soon as we get them, we will make them available.  In the meantime, we have a new challenge for you.

I thought I would share some of the fun ways our ladies were SMASHing at the crop.  Kat Blue has some wonderful creative ideas in her SMASH book.  For this page, she cleaned out her purse and scrapped it.  She didn't want to hold up her creation so she popped a little photo of herself on the page.

Chela made a fun two page layout.  The simple collage style was a great way to get a bunch of photos on the page.   Her use of white space really helps the eye move around the page.

We had some younger croppers with us tonight and they were very creative.  Maya created this lovely page featuring her baby photo.   She has some fun groupings of embellishments and even included her id bracelet.

India made her cover more fun by adding buttons.   On the dice paper, she added Monopoly money and game pieces.  Gina Adolph was very proud that India included journaling on her page.

Proud mom Sandy, created this gorgeous two page spread all ready for photos.  I love how she turned the album on its side and added the white pen faux stitching detail.

We talked Shar into having her photo taken with Gina.  I love getting photos of people laughing.

Lee has a bunch of different wahsi tapes and I love how she uses the tape as an embellishment as well as using it to tape her journaling block down.

Brent brought a few different SMASH books with her.  I love the Christmas book she created in the SMASH style using the Fancy Pants Brag Book and Simple Stories papers.  This book is a full on Christmas decoration.

Brent made great use of the pocket by stuffing it full of tags with photos on them.

 37 New Distress Ink Markers

You might have questions about markers.....
Markers have been around forever..right?
Copics are wonderful and are the best marker...why does anyone need more?
It's amazing how Tim Holtz can look at a product and see how it can be made easier to use, and more versatile to use.
1.  These markers come in 37 colors.  36 colors to match the distress ink pads, AND picket fence.  (yes WHITE on black)
2.  These pens are water based so they react to water for blending.
3.  The color is translucent
4.  The markers are dual tipped.  One end has a detail brush, the other a fine tip for writing.
5.  You can stamp with black archival ink,a nd color in the design or you can use them directly on the stamp with no need to rush for fear you will loose the ink.
6.  No more worring about "light to dark" or needing 12 colors of green for proper shading...these markers can be blended and you can even work from dark to light.

We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11 AM and purchase tickets at the front counter for however many Demos you want to create. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. If you get to the store by 3PM, you should have enough time to do all the demos or get kits to go.
