 Demo Day
Saturday August 20th  11-4 PM
Join us for 11 great projects all just $2 each. We will have a variety of cards and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11 AM and purchase tickets at the front counter for however many Demos you want to create. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. If you get to the store by 3PM, you should have enough time to do all the demos or get kits to go.

If you complete 8 demos, you will receive a coupon for10% off your purchases for the day (not including special orders or other sale special offers).

Cindy has two fabulous butterflies for you to make.

This is a great way to sell your old scrapbooking and stamping products and get store credit for brand new products!
 Sign up for a table inside the store, just $15. Each customer is responsible for setting up and working their own table. Set up starts at 11 AM.   Shopping starts at Noon.  Just want to purchase?

All customer yard sale purchases must be made using Scraps Cash (store credit). Scraps Cash is not redeemable for actual cash but can be used for purchases at Photo Scraps.

Join Tracy for this sunny shadow box that you can fill with your photos.  There is even a mini album that you can fill with photos to make this an extra special wall decoration.  Fee $28

Mommy & Me Monday (Children not required if you want to do the project yourself)
Drop in between 11-2 and you can create a fun project.    All the pieces will be pre-cut to make the project go together easily.    We will be making a fun decorated jellyfish hanger.   Fee $3

Scrapping 101 with Gina

Do you want to get started scrapbooking but don't know where or how to start? Are you overwhelmed by all the choices when you come in to shop? Do you have boxes of photos under the bed and don't know what to do next? Then this is the class for you!

 

Gina will teach you all you need to know to make your first scrapbook pages. You will learn how to use tools, pick colors and how to adhere your photos safely. Please bring 4-8 photos and you will complete your first page in class. Fee $12

Avocado Arts Set 3

Avocado Arts cards with Lisa Hetrick. The best part is that everyone gets their own set of Avocado Arts stamps to take home. Fee $27

Butterfly Bonanza with Cindy

We will be making 6 beautiful butterfly themed cards using products from a variety of manufacturers. Some butterflies do need to be cut out, so make sure to bring sharp scissors with you!  $23

 

 

Sunday August 28th 1-4 PM

Faber-Castell KaiserCraft Mixed Media Easel
Lisa Hetrick has gone crazy with techniques for this amazing class. The project is made up of layers of white tissue paper, stamped and collaged. The center flower is created on mixed media paper and you will also work on the coloring process for the flower. The other colored flowers are done right on the project with the gelatos and big brush pen. You will paint and distress as well. Each student will receive their own set of Red Faber-Castell Mixed Media kit ($15 value).   Class Fee $35

Students need to bring or purchase - Small bottle of Matte Mod PODGE or their favorite collage glue medium (gel medium) works as well. Foam Brush and Waterbrush.

Halloween Wreath class with Mandy
Mandy is on the My Little Showbox design team and created some amazing things for their booth at CHA.  This wreath caught my eye and she agreed to teach it for us.  The wreath stand is included with your wreath.  You will get to make lots of flower so be sure to bring your hot glue gun or fast drying glue.  Fee $21

Friends FURever!! 

 

Anyone who has been following this blog knows what a FREAK I am about my dogs, not ashamed of that fact one bit! These two hounds have added so much to our family, most obviously love, affection, and humor!! Myrtle and Daisy make us laugh so much;it's almost on a daily basis that someone in the family is grabbing the camera to capture some ridiculous moment. The line used for Design Team this month couldn't have been a better choice for me, and the papers and colors did not disappoint! I always buy the 12x12 cardstock pad every month that coordinates with the We R Memory Keepers line--I love the quality of their cardstock, the colors perfectly coordinate with the line (duh!!) and it is quite a bargain to boot! I used several stamps this month also--love the "paw" stamp (and yes, it is $1!!) and the phrase & "woof" stamps add a nice touch also. Look for this line at the store and stay tuned to the emails because the new CHA stuff is starting to arrive! See you soon, Lisa H.,aka: Tall Lisa
