Wacky Wednesday (& Thursday) Cards
It's Wednesday so that means new cards for you to make. We have some wonderful new card designs for you to color with Copics.   Jill had fun with some paper piecing on one of the cute My Favorite Things cards.  All just $2 each.



New Basic Grey Nordic Christmas line.
 We also received two new Reminisce Christmas and Fall lines.
Lots of new Impression Obsession Christmas stamps and backgrounds.

 

 Demo Day
Saturday August 20th  11-4 PM
Join us for 11 great projects all just $2 each. We will have a variety of cards and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11 AM and purchase tickets at the front counter for however many Demos you want to create. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. If you get to the store by 3PM, you should have enough time to do all the demos or get kits to go.

If you complete 8 demos, you will receive a coupon for10% off your purchases for the day (not including special orders or other sale special offers).

Beach Babe Shadowbox
Thursday August 18th  6-8 PM
Join Tracy for this sunny shadow box that you can fill with your photos.  There is even a mini album that you can fill with photos to make this an extra special wall decoration.  Fee $28

 Monday August 22nd  11-2 PM
Mommy & Me Monday (Children not required if you want to do the project yourself)
Drop in between 11-2 and you can create a fun project.    All the pieces will be pre-cut to make the project go together easily.    We will be making a fun decorated jellyfish hanger.   Fee $6

Scrapping 101 with Gina

Do you want to get started scrapbooking but don't know where or how to start? Are you overwhelmed by all the choices when you come in to shop? Do you have boxes of photos under the bed and don't know what to do next? Then this is the class for you!

 

Gina will teach you all you need to know to make your first scrapbook pages. You will learn how to use tools, pick colors and how to adhere your photos safely. Please bring 4-8 photos and you will complete your first page in class. Fee $12

Avocado Arts Set 3Avocado Arts cards with Lisa Hetrick. The best part is that everyone gets their own set of Avocado Arts stamps to take home. Fee $27

Sunday August 28th 1-4 PM

Faber-Castell KaiserCraft Mixed Media Easel
Lisa Hetrick has gone crazy with techniques for this amazing class. The project is made up of layers of white tissue paper, stamped and collaged. The center flower is created on mixed media paper and you will also work on the coloring process for the flower. The other colored flowers are done right on the project with the gelatos and big brush pen. You will paint and distress as well. Each student will receive their own set of Red Faber-Castell Mixed Media kit ($15 value).   Class Fee $35

Students need to bring or purchase - Small bottle of Matte Mod PODGE or their favorite collage glue medium (gel medium) works as well. Foam Brush and Waterbrush.

Join Tracy for 6 new Flower Techniques using the newest Sizzix and Memory Box Dies, lots of stickles and even some Tattered Angels.  Fee $25

Halloween Wreath class with Mandy
Mandy is on the My Little Showbox design team and created some amazing things for their booth at CHA.  This wreath caught my eye and she agreed to teach it for us.  The wreath stand is included with your wreath.  You will get to make lots of flower so be sure to bring your hot glue gun or fast drying glue.  Fee $21

Do you think it's a coincidence that we got a new puppy and We R Memory Keepers came out with an adorable new pet line?? I don't know . . . but I do know that I LOVE this line!!! The beautiful prints and colors perfectly compliment our puppy Brody and the photos of the day we brought him home for the first time. I used the card paper from the line to create a fun little mini book on my page to house a few more photos (Yes, I got 12 photos on this layout!!!) Stamping. I always say I want to incorporate more stamps on my scrapbook pages and today I did it. The sentiment on my first page came from a Heidi Swapp/Cloud 9 set filled with loving quotes about this special member of our family. The paw prints, "Puppy Love" title, and the bling dog bone came from Queen & Co. Don't have a dog? We R Memory Keepers collection also has goodies for the cat lover!
