We have had a busy week around Photo Scraps. 

Laura's card class for Saturday the 13th is postponed until we pick a new date.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  The good news for croppers is that you can come in and crop all day.

Pajama Crop
Saturday August 13th  10 AM to 2 AM
 We don't have a class scheduled on Saturday so if you want to come crop at 10 AM and stay til 2 AM, come on in. Pizza, sodas and cookies for dinner.   I bought some extra chocolate to keep us awake.  Prizes for everyone wearing jammies.  Fee $15

We had such a great time with Dave from Memory Box.  He was such a professional and so prepared for the class.  Ladies that have been stamping for years were commenting how much they learned in class.  The good news is that Lisa Hetrick and Cindy both were on hand to learn the great techniques.  I'm sure they will be teaching them in classes soon. 

For those of you who were unable to make it to Dave's classes, we still have a great selection of the new Memory Box stamps and dies. 

There will be a new Layout of the Week this Sunday.  Just $6 at the front counter.

Drop in between 11-2 and you can create a fun project.    All the pieces will be pre-cut to make the project go together easily.    We will be making a fun decorated pencil holder this week.   Fee $6

Still wondering how to add more meaningful journaling to your scrapbooks? Join Gina A. to learn the art of story-telling on your pages. Each student will create a beautiful 6 x 6 scrapbook while learning WHAT and HOW to write, HANDWRITING tips, COMPUTER JOURNALING tips, How to add HIDDEN JOURNALING to your layouts, And MORE! **** We may substitute a different paper line.

Join Tracy for this sunny shadow box that you can fill with your photos.  There is even a mini album that you can fill with photos to make this an extra special wall decoration.  Fee $28

Scrapping 101 with Gina

Do you want to get started scrapbooking but don't know where or how to start? Are you overwhelmed by all the choices when you come in to shop? Do you have boxes of photos under the bed and don't know what to do next? Then this is the class for you!

Gina will teach you all you need to know to make your first scrapbook pages. You will learn how to use tools, pick colors and how to adhere your photos safely. Please bring 4-8 photos and you will complete your first page in class. Fee $12

Sunday August 28th 1-4 PM

Faber-Castell KaiserCraft Mixed Media Easel
Lisa Hetrick has gone crazy with techniques for this amazing class. The project is made up of layers of white tissue paper, stamped and collaged. The center flower is created on mixed media paper and you will also work on the coloring process for the flower. The other colored flowers are done right on the project with the gelatos and big brush pen. You will paint and distress as well. Each student will receive their own set of Red Faber-Castell Mixed Media kit ($15 value).

Students need to bring or purchase - Small bottle of Matte Mod PODGE or their favorite collage glue medium (gel medium) works as well. Foam Brush and Waterbrush.
