April Design Team
Cosmo Cricket and a bit of Pink Paisley
Wow! I may be on a roll . . . I actually got the second layout done for "Operation Re-do George's Baby Book"! George was my parents first grandchild and he had an especially amazing bond with his grandfather. Instead of working chronologically, I did a themed layout about their relaltionship using Bella Boulevard's Mr. Boy line. (This layout stirred up a few tears since losing my Dad 10 years ago.) I don't know if I enjoyed working with combining the printed papers more or playing with their chipboard embellishments! Also used in this layout were circles cut from Spellbinders, New cotton Felt Fusion from Queen & Company (already adhesive-backed they applied like a dream!), Momenta's Puffy Stickers ("hugs"), and lots of embellies from Jillibean Soup's Blossom Soup's cardstock stickers. Also, loved getting yet another use from Jillibean's Corrugated alphies! Onto layout number 3... Lisa C.

is still active on our blog? Just look under the Heading on the right
side of the blog that says Blog Archive. You will see months and
years listed. Just click on one of the listings.
One nice feature of the new site is the Event Calendar. It lists each class and event in date order. There is a photo of the event, important details about your classes and you can even register and pay with PayPal online! Check out the photos in the Photo Gallery.
I've been working hard to create an interactive website for all our customers to get together online, chat, post layouts, get store & class information, videos and downloads. The first thing you need to do is register for the site. It's free. Then, you will be able to introduce yourself in the forum and post layouts in the gallery. Please read the Getting Started information in the Forum. I will still be using this blog so don't worry if you do not want to participate in the new website. http://photoscraps.spruz.com/ |
