Climate Quest an Investigative on-the-water Experience
Climate Quest

Recently American Association of University Women's Tech Trek program made its annual visit to ExplorOcean/Newport Harbor Nautical Museum for Climate Quest, our unique on-the-water education program for middle school aged students.  The Tech Trek girls were able to live the day in the life of a climate scientist collecting data, conducting experiments and observing the natural environment in order to better understand the important role of the ocean in regulating the global climate.

To book your Climate Quest expedition or learn more about our educational programs please call 949.675.8915 or email rsvp@explorocean.org.

Not only do kids meet Thaddeus but they have a chance to examine and even touch a real minke whale skull and whaling harpoons!
