Volunteer Opportunity

The Newport Harbor Nautical Museum/ExplorOcean is partnering with the Ship Modelers' Association and needs your help with the festivities of the 2011 Western Ship Model Conference & Exhibit.  The Exhibit will take place in the Harborside Grand Ballroom at the Historic Balboa Pavilion March 29th - April 2nd.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers and volunteer leaders to help prepare and organize a sale of interesting ship modeling tools, accessories, and other paraphernalia as well as staff the exhibit selling tickets and tools throughout the week.  Volunteers should be dedicated, organized and work well independently.

The Conference is the end of March however preparation must begin soon!

To learn more about how you can contribute to this exciting volunteer project please send an email to lnichols@nhnm.org or call (949) 675- 8915.
