News from Ed and Luci Kivett, Innkeepers
Although all the seasons in northeast Georgia are special, it's not a surprise that our most popular time of year here is Fall. The colors are already coming in beautifully, and the cool mornings and evenings have been a welcome change. Our October and early November weekends at the Inn booked early, some as early as last year! If your schedule is flexible, we encourage you to consider a mid-week adventure to the mountains (see our special Midweek Peek Package info). During the leaf season restaurants, roadways, shops, and orchards see a significant increase in activity particularly on the weekends. Mid-week travel will not only save you money, the traffic is considerably lighter and the crowds are much smaller. Call us today to book your reservation and come enjoy the fall colors and brisk mountain air.

Hard to believe it is that time of year, but Thanksgiving really is just around the corner. We are excited to have many new and returning guests coming to have a meal with us. We still have seating available, if you are interested in making a reservation. Chef Marc and his staff will be preparing a traditional Thanksgiving fare to include Roasted Turkey, Bourbon Glazed Ham, Sweet Potato Pone along with many other sides and of course lots of desserts. Be sure to let us know when you make your reservation if you would like to sit on the enclosed terrace and enjoy this sumptuous meal while overlooking the gardens.
