We love summer in the northeast Georgia Mountains. There are so many outdoor places to visit, festivals, and special events. We are highlighting one of our favorite summer activities (picking blackberries) with a special lodging package for the month of July. You cannot believe the size of these berries, and the fact that there are no thorns makes it even more enjoyable. We enjoy eating them as a snack, or making delicious blackberry cobbler topped with ice cream!
In case you haven't already seen this, Lake Rabun was recently featured in the July issue of Southern Living Magazine as one of 'The South's Great Lakes' and in the summer issue of Northeast Georgia Living Magazine. Introducing others to our area of the state is great publicity for all of us and we appreciate these publications mentioning us as well.
When making your plans for the summer, we invite you to come stay with us, enjoy the beautiful outdoors, or just relax by our pool.
We hope to see you soon!
