Dear Race Participants:

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the inaugural A-C-T Carillon Classic 5k Run & Walk presented by the Dick Pope Polk County Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association and hosted by Bok Tower Gardens benefiting the George W. Harris Jr. Runaway Youth and Crisis Shelter supporting children in the Heartland.

Race day (May 26, 2012) check-in and on-site registration begins at 6:30 am with race time starting at 7:30 am. If you need additional information prior to race day contact Jennifer Baker at 863-904-4654. Bok Tower Gardens is located in Lake Wales, Florida just north of Downtown (address below).

The race committee is pleased to announce we have met and exceeded our participation goal and look forward to meeting you all on the 26th. If you have not been to Bok Tower Gardens before you are in for a treat and I would encourage you to bring your family. Your registration gets you and your family into the gardens for FREE. So, plan to stay after the race and enjoy a leisurely cool-down walk through the pristine settings of the Lake Wales Ridge.

Also, at the end of the race you will be asked to fill out a brief survey indicating your level of satisfaction for the inaugural A-C-T Carillon Classic 5k Walk & Run. Every participant filling out the survey will be entered into a drawing (held during the awards ceremony) for several nice prizes, one of which is a three day/two night stay at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando.
