Where do I get a Criminal Records Check completed so I can coach?

Go to your local police detachment, where you live, and complete the CRC request form.  There is no cost to you if you are a volunteer working with youth soccer, you may need a letter signed by a club executive.

Why aren't Coaches/Managers e-mail addresses included on our schedules?

In accordance with The Privacy Act, we do not publish people's e-mail addresses.  If you are coaching and would like to exchange email with coaches in your division, you are more than welcome to do that with individual permissions.

I am a coach/manager of a team and would like to be added to the LISA distribution list for my division.  How do I do this?

If you want to be added to a LISA distribution list you need to e-mail your Club Registrar and copy admin@lowerislandsoccer.com.  Please make sure you send this information to both places to keep both your club and the LISA office up to date.

What happens when it rains?

As long as the fields are in good condition, you will play in the rain. To find out if your clubs fields are open, check your club website for their notification procedures.

New U10-12 Academy

  AcademyLogo

Over the past six months the Victoria Highlanders FC and the Vancouver Island Wave have been looking at ways that they could bring together their coaching staffs and their resources in order to help the development of the sport on Vancouver Island.

One of the major steps in this 'Development Through Cooperation' will be rolled out this September with the emergence of the U10-U12 development program which we feel is appropriately named the L2T Centre (Learn to Train Centre).

She also facilitated the LISA Strategic Planning Committee in 2011 and the rest is history.

Other roles

Kim has three children who all played at Juan de Fuca. Some know her twin boys who recently graduated from U18.  However not everyone knows they started out as holding hands on the soccer field.
