Revitalization Committee
| |
The Village of Oak Harbor is seeking 8-10 representatives from Oak Harbor organizations, businesses ,local government, or individual volunteers to serve on a downtown revitalization committee. A 1-2 year commitment would be best, and the committee would be meeting at least once per month, (meeting would be open to public) and the committee will be reporting to village council monthly, with recommendations for revitalization of downtown. The first orders of business: elect chair, vice chair, and elect or appoint secretary. The 5-year master plan has several parts, or sections ,deciding what should be a priority will be a task that must come next. Once this important step has been completed, how to make it happen is next. As everyone knows, this will be our biggest challenge!
I am confident in this community. We can work together to improve our community, please consider being a part of this great project!
Mayor Fred Conley
The plan is on-line at www.oakharbor.oh.us
