Baldy's Roost Opening April 11th

Baldy's Roost, the restaurant at the Oak Harbor Golf Club will be opening for the season starting April 11, 2011. They will be open for lunch Tuesday through Friday and if you email your order to them before 10:00 am, they can have your food ready when you arrive. Hours are 11:00am-9:00pm Monday through Friday, with dinner specials every Friday night.

There will also be a Murder Mystery Dinner at the OHGC on Friday April 1, 2011. There is a limit of 50 tickets so call now to reserve your seat. You can reach them at 419-898-1493.

New Face at the Chamber of Commerce

The Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes Charlotte Striker as the new Executive Secretary at the office. Charlotte joined us this month and will be at the office 3 days per week. Feel free to call or stop in to introduce yourself and welcome Charlotte to the chamber.  

Concealed Carry Class March 26th

The Sportsmen's Stop offers Concealed Carry Classes several times per year. The next class will be held on March 26, 2011. Classes are $110.00 per person with a limit of 20 people per class. You must have a reservation in order toparticipate. Classes are always held on a Saturday and run from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Sportsmen's Stop also provides 3 meals throughout the course of the day to those registered for the class. You will need to bring 50 rounds of ammo, eye protection and ear protection. To sign up for the next class please contact Dan at 419-341-1567. In addition to the classes, the Sportsmen's Stop also has over 400 guns in stock, as well as ammo and Dan is a Kimber Master Dealer. OH Chamber table at Taste of Ottawa County 

The Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce will have a table at the Leadership Ottawa County Event, "Taste of Ottawa County, LIVE HERE, BUY HERE." Any chamber member may display brochures or promotional material on the chamber table. All materials must be dropped off by Wednesday April 27, 2011 in order to participate. All leftover materials can be picked up at the chamber office the following week or you can leave them for use in the chamber lobby. If you have any questions please call 419-898-0479.
