THE TRUTH IS...
"The atmosphere at MBA is very warm and supportive, the teachers are very Christ centered, the school offers many interesting opprotunities for a variety of activities, and the campus is an idyllic place to attend school."

"It's a family friendly school, it creates opportunities in all aspects of life. Including education, life lessons, and getting closer to God. You also make friendships here that are impossible to make anywhere else."
Kaitlynn Gonzales, Class of 2010 Merced, CA |
"Your school has provided a great christian environment for my son's spiritual growth. Also your school offers a very challenging academic environment. I have enjoyed seeing and hearing my son's personal growth. I love to see the fruit of my labor flourish. Thank You Monterey Bay Academy!"
Jose Valencia Sr., Current Parent Chowchilla, CA |
"My conversion to Christ at MBA set my life in a direction that cannot be described in words, because it has been an experience. I could never repay the valuable training and life preparation I received at MBA."

"I feel a certain pride toward MBA. I feel it is a school that really develops a child's character. Compared to other schools I have seen, MBA seems so personal and because of the boarding school experience, it is like a family. I feel very attached to MBA and being at MBA makes me feel like part of a kind of special 'club', a club connected with God that has many members that all have that same feeling."
Danica Betts, Class of 2011
Associated Student Body (A.S.B.) Executive Vice President 2010-2011 |
"I am indebted to the teachers and leaders that I now realize were making great sacrifices to work at MBA. The education, discipline, and life-long friendships from my years at MBA are invaluable assets that will live with me forever."

From the Principal's Desk
|
 | Tim Kubrock, Principal | Dear MBA Family,
A bad story often begins with the phrase..."It seemed like a good idea at the time......". For example, yesterday, Dean Lou and I decided to move our meeting from my office to the backyard of my house. I knew that some workers were completing work on our new deck-but it still seemed like a good idea at the time. During the middle of our meeting as the leaf blower was going full blast behind me, I could see Dean Lou talking (his lips were moving) but I couldn't hear a thing. Then I realized...."It seemed like a good idea at the time...(but probably wasn't)" Another time, I made the mistake of purchasing a vehicle after dark. I had to live with that color and vehicle for years. What about you? Did you ever get into trouble over something that started out with a little fun? One thing is certain, whenever we take a step towards Jesus, we will NEVER be sorry for that decision. It is ALWAYS a good idea to move closer to Jesus. |
MBA Happenings |
| Week of Prayer speaker, Pastor Keith Gray |
We have been richly blessed this week with Pastor Keith Gray from Southwestern Adventist University in Texas as our Week of Prayer speaker. He has presented the gospel in a very compelling and powerful way and we have seen God's Holy Spirit on our campus. Yesterday, over 50 students and adults answered the call to stand up for Jesus. I would encourage you to join us if you can for vespers tonight at 7:30pm or Church tomorrow morning at 11:10am. Beautiful Spring weather has finally arrived and the temperature reached a rare 80 degrees yesterday on campus.
Our Mission trip team returned from Belize last Monday night, tired but thankful for a safe and wonderful experience. The A.S.B. Spring Banquet will take place this Sunday, April 3 at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. The banquet theme is "Under the Sea". |
