Kaitlynn Gonzales, Class of 2010 Merced, CA |
"Your school has provided a great christian environment for my son's spiritual growth. Also your school offers a very challenging academic environment. I have enjoyed seeing and hearing my son's personal growth. I love to see the fruit of my labor flourish. Thank You Monterey Bay Academy!"

"My conversion to Christ at MBA set my life in a direction that cannot be described in words, because it has been an experience. I could never repay the valuable training and life preparation I received at MBA."

"I feel a certain pride toward MBA. I feel it is a school that really develops a child's character. Compared to other schools I have seen, MBA seems so personal and because of the boarding school experience, it is like a family. I feel very attached to MBA and being at MBA makes me feel like part of a kind of special 'club', a club connected with God that has many members that all have that same feeling."
Danica Betts, Class of 2011

"I am indebted to the teachers and leaders that I now realize were making great sacrifices to work at MBA. The education, discipline, and life-long friendships from my years at MBA are invaluable assets that will live with me forever."

 | Tim Kubrock, Principal |
Dear MBA Family,
As part of my official responsibilities, I have the privilege of visiting classrooms and observing the MBA teachers in action. This week, I observed Mr. Z's 5th period U.S. History class and learned about the life and times of FDR. In Pastor Speyer's 1st period Religion IV class, the topic was pantheism and how it lacks a very personal God who wants a relationship with each of us. In Mr. Dunn's 10th period Graphics Tech class, the students are learning the intricacies of Photoshop, and also designing their own personal business cards. I can assure you that your child has every opportunity to thrive and learn here as they prepare for life beyond graduation. |

Meet the Staff

 | Aimee Leukert, Geometry Teacher |
Aimee Leukert was born and raised in Southern California until last year when she and Kristian moved to MBA. Their second daughter Kayleigh joined her big sister, Liana (now 2) and the rest of the family on August 28. Mrs. Leukert teaches two Geometry classes, spends much of her time at home with her two girls, and can occasionally be seen and heard accompanying her husband on the piano (too rarely for most of us). She enjoys family time, photography, scrapbooking, journaling and teaching piano.
Aimee has taught at Newbury Park Academy (2 yrs.) and before that was Principal (2 yrs.) and 5th grade teacher (4 years) at Crescenta Valley Adventist School. She studied Music and Education at La Sierra University and has completed her Masters degree in Administration. She and Kristian met at La Sierra where she was his accompanist for his Junior and Senior voice and trumpet recitals (and the rest is history:) She also accompanied the LSU vocal octet for 3 years-including their performance at the General Conference session in Toronto in 2000.
She feels indebted to the MBA parents for entrusting their children to us. She also wants to see all students be successful in her classes. "All students can succeed, my job is to help bring out their potential." Thank you Mrs. Leukert!
are blessed to have Amy and her family here at MBA this year!
