Greetings from beautiful M.B.A., where "Land and Sea Unite to Inspire."  This is my first weekly newsletter for 2010-2011.  I hope to keep you informed about events and happenings on campus during this school year through the use of this new email service.  Please feel free to share this newsletter or communicate with me if you wish to be removed from the list.  

Last week, our nation marked the 9^th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11.  Perhaps you watched the unbelievable collapse of New York's World Trade Center like I did on that terrible day in 2001.  When completed in 1972, the 110-story twin towers were the tallest buildings on earth and took over 5 years to build.  But in less than an hour, each tower came crashing down.

This reminded me of a quote from American Will Rogers, "It takes a lifetime to build a good reputation, but you can lose it in a minute."  Here at MBA, we believe in the importance of helping students build Christian characters.  What students learn here is probably not as important as who they become.
