Free Carnival Tickets!

Our Edina French Immersion program attracts top-notch French Intern candidates, and we want to be able to make offers to them quickly. But FIRST we need to find them homes! To bring over our usual number of Interns, we need 50 host families signed up by March 1.

Each host family provides room and board to one Intern for half of the school year.Learn more here.

BONUS: Sign up to host by February 1 and your family will receive free admission and meal tickets for the Normandale Spring Carnival this May!

Edina Intern Experience

All of our students benefit from having French Interns in the classrooms, but it takes a lot of volunteers to make it possible! January is when we ask every Normandale family to find a way to help support the Edina Intern Experience for the coming school year. How can YOU help?

The French Interns play a key role at Normandale Elementary by providing a second French-speaking adult in the classroom. Their presence deepens the immersion experience, increases students' opportunities to hear conversations in the French language, helps teachers provide additional small-group instruction, and provides unique cultural exchange opportunities at school and at home.

You help make it happen! Please sign up now.

Dues are Due!!

We still show that approximately 80 families have not paid PTO dues this year (this includes field trip, party dues, and intern donation). The dues form also gives you an option of buying a yearbook. We will soon be sending a friendly reminder letter to those families who may have forgotten. If you have not yet paid your dues, you can help us save on printing and postage costs by going to the PTO website dues page and paying via PayPal or by printing out the dues form and paying via check. If you are not sure if you have paid, please email PTO Treasurer, John Conte and he will get back to you promptly.

Thank you for supporting Normandale through the PTO
