DIGIVATIONS NASA LEGO+ARTS Kids Programs: August 9 and 10, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Point Roberts Community Center. Imaginations take flight building with LEGO, launching rockets and bringing ideas to life through improvisation and by creating and presenting storyboards while learning about science, technology, engineering and math commonly called STEM. DIGIVATIONS NASA Mini-Academy: August 11-14, 18-21 and 25-28,11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Ages 9-15. Point Roberts Community Center. Registration is $120 for each four-day session, single day pass available for $30. Scholarships available by emailing anne@digivations.com. Students will have fun learning about commercial space, designing rockets and comparing Earth and space eco-systems. Students who attend all four days will prepare business plans, build robots and create their own commercial space rocket companies. Younger children may attend if accompanied by an adult.
