March showers bring April... marmots?


Bruce Meikle spotted this yellow-bellied marmot on Easter Sunday morning on the Point. Meikle first noticed the little guy peering out from the wheel well of his car.

Yellow-bellied marmots span a wide range from south-central British Columbia to California, but are rarely ever seen in Point Roberts.
