International Applicants: Why do you need to apply early? Here's why: The
March 31st deadline for International students is more of a guideline. Since it takes 6 months to get a study permit, we suggest that international applicants apply as early as possible, as we cannot guarantee enough time if there is a hold up in receiving your documents. However, if you have your study permit in order, have filled out the online application and paid the $75 application fee, and you are well on your way to having a completed application packge, you can still apply for this upcoming year, starting August 2010!
Canadian Applicants: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and are evaluated in the order in which they are completed. Therefore, it is to your advantage to submit your completed application as early as possible, as competition is strong and enrollment is limited. The application deadline is May 31st, but space permitting, we will accept applicants until June 15. Don't risk it, Apply Early! |

Alumni Spotlight
Dorothy L Barrie, Optometrist, 2009 Edwards MBA
Barrie took part in the MBA International Study Tour 2009 trip to India, and views it as the highlight of the program. The class was able to visit over ten businesses, including the facilities of the National Dairy Development Board in Anand. "As a businesswoman, I was very happy to see that in India, women are highly respected and play a significant role in the structure of the society. This was a life changing event for me," says Barrie. "Being in healthcare, where you deal with thousands of people over your career, you think you have seen a lot. However, traveling to India and seeing how many people live was a profound experience. I have always known I have a privileged life here in Canada, and I count my blessings daily.
