Serve Romania UpdateMarch, 2012
Greetings Faithful Friends!

We are thanking God for His provision and abundant blessings and are continually reminded that we need you and your prayers!  Please take a moment to read our update and praise Him with us for answered prayers!

Praises and Prayers..

We praise God that He has provided funding so that we may purchase an automobile!  We are excited about how this will impact our ministry!  THANK YOU for your prayers and generosity!

Please pray that God will direct us to a quality, road-worthy vehicle, with room for several passengers! We anticipate assisting with transport of gospel-bearing teams as we all serve together to proclaim His Name!

Jim is back in Romania
and preparing to travel to Talmaciu, Romania to meet the Denton Bible leadership team. They will be teaching expository preaching to BTCP trained Romanian pastors. This team includes Mike Scheer, John Brown, Sam Buliga and our son, Roy Brian, who recently completed BTCP and is the Pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship in Gunter, Texas. From Talamaciu, the team will travel to the country of Moldova, then Serbia, then return home via Budapest, Hungary.

Please pray for safe travel for all concerned; pray for clear minds to proclaim the gospel and for the Holy Spirit to illumine those who hear from God's word.

Pray for meetings with pastors and lay members who desire to know more fully the truth of the scriptures.  Also pray for the planning and assessment meetings which will be ongoing and that we follow God's plan in future ministry.

Brenda is in Texas for a short time longer, recovering well from minor surgery and will join Jim in Timisoara the first week of April.

Please pray for Brenda, Valetta Buliga and Janis Saville as they pray and plan for future women's ministry in Romania and Eastern Europe.

As you know, our youngest daughter, Hannah, was married on February 25th.  The weddng was a beautiful picture of the mystery of Christ and the church. Mr. and Mrs. Kip Staton are happy newlyweds and we are still amazed and thankful of how our friends and family came around us to make the wedding a Jesus-glorifying testimony of love.

We recently celebrated the birth of our newest granddaughter, Serenity Brenlyn Moore (below) born on March 19th.

Above right:  Silas loves his new little sister, as does her other 6 siblings!

In addition, we anticipate the birth of grandbaby number 16 in a few weeks.  Pray for our daughter, Heather and her family as they prepare for her arrival!

We have had a wonderful time in Texas!  We were able to see and fellowship with many of you. We met a lot of new friends and reconnected with some old ones. AND God has added additional supporters and prayer warriors to our sending team during this time!  We are continuing in the field very encouraged, with more monthly support than before.  And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:19

Although our time in the states went by fast and Brenda's gall bladder surgery hampered our schedule a little, God has been gracious to provide quick healing and by His grace, we are persevering in the mission God has entrusted to us.

We can't begin to name everything that God has provided through you!  We have not wanted for a place to stay, delicious meals to eat, vehicles to drive or words of encouragement. Many of you invited us to share with you, your group or your church about what God is doing in Romania and Eastern Europe.  It seemed that every time there was need of something, no matter how large or small, it was there! We are humbled and honored by such giant servants of the King. Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!

If we missed a chance to meet with you, please keep us in your prayers and we will hope to see you at the next DBC missions conference in January 2013!

Much love to you all,

Jim and Brenda
