Texcel Technology - Say Hellow   Texcel Techhnology - What's In a Number?

Greetings!

It's not surprising that with all the recent rain we should be talking about moisture, but it's been the No. 1 challenge for the busy brains in our production team recently.

Many electronic components and PCBs have major issues with moisture sensitivity levels (MSL), causing immediate or delayed failures.  Simon, our production engineer, was tasked with dealing with the damp head on and enhancing our MSL procedures to meet the IPC/ Jedec J-IPC- 033B standard.*

This has resulted in the MSL rating of each component being printed both on the bar code label and at goods-in, together with the purchase of a temperature

and humidity control cabinet, where components left open can be safely returned to a low humidity level.

Simon's range of integrated procedures and new equipment has made sure we always stay dry at Texcel, whatever the weather.
