Texcel Technology has opened a brand new mezzanine floor, adding a further 3500 sq ft to its UK headquarters.
Formally opened by Will Tuckley, Chief Executive of the London Borough of Bexley, together with key local Councillors in attendance, this expansion marks a rapid expansion in the past 24 months for the company.
During this period, Texcel Technology has enjoyed contract wins to the value of over £17M, resulting in 17 new roles at the company.
These have included a number of important sub contracts for industry clients in the areas of marine research, seismic instrumentation, image processing cards and high voltage PCB's together with demand for Texcel's design and project expertise in instrumentation, embedded computing and the sub-sea, marine sector.
Andy McLeod, Texcel's MD, stated that "The company is focused upon growing the business based upon offering an excellent customer service. The new mezzanine area, with the new equipment and production flooring sets up the company ready for the next phase of expansion."
