Final Green Cup Challenge Readings, Feb. 18th

Meter readings need to be posted by 9 AM Monday, Feb. 21st. It's important that the reading is done exactly 4 weeks from your initial meter reading.
Results are posted on the GCC Results page.

Results are unofficial until verified by Regional Coordinators and explanations of reductions have been received and reviewed. See below. We are hoping to announce the Green Cup Challenge results on the website by Friday, Feb. 25th - but we need your help by posting your readings on Monday and verifying your results if you are one of the top performing schools in your region.

Verifying the Results for the Regional Winners

Top schools in each region are asked to verify their results by describing the actions they took to achieve their savings. For example, a school with a large kWh reduction may have made extensive improvements over the past year such as replacing windows, replacing HVAC equipment, or installing solar panels.

A summary of the results has been posted. You can also download a spreadsheet version.

Schools with large increases or decreases in their energy use (>20%) should  should also verify their results.  Such large changes are rarely seen with behavior changes alone and are likely due to major initiatives by the school.

Schools with apparent data errors are highlighted in red.

Schools with changes from baseline > 20% are highlighted in orange.

Here is the link to share or verify your results:

If you are having trouble with your baseline or meter numbers, take a look at the Reading Your Electric Meter page and the What to do if the numbers don't make sense page.

Contact your Regional Coordinator or a National Coordinator if you feel that you need some help with either the collection, calculation or reporting of your school's data. The Green Cup Challenge is about schools guiding schools to reduce their resource consumption.  Your success is our success!
