A big thanks to Denise and Brian Wiegand, owners of Bubba's Bar-B-Que and their staff for the outstanding c2b (Cody Business Breakfast) we had last week. We had our largest group yet. We'll do it again, Friday, October 5th. I'll announce the location soon.
If you like vintage motorcycles, there's a great opportunity to see approximately 75, pre-1930 motorcycles in Cody this Sunday, September 16th from about noon-2 p.m. at The Irma as the "Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run" makes a lunch stop in Cody. Find more information about the unique cross-country race HERE.
Finally, I'm always impressed with the way our members take care of people who visit us. Here is a note we recently received:
Dear Cody,
I wanted to thank all the people of Cody for being so kind to us on our recent Yellowstone/Teton adventure. We traveled out West from Wisconsin, and our van blew a gasket 30 miles east of Cody.
From all of those at the Cody Super 8 (Dave gave us a complimentary pass to the parks), to the tow truck driver, the vehicle rental people at the airport, the woman at the visitor's center who gave us expert advice for the parks, the gang at Technical Cowboy Auto, and Matt at Midway Auto Sales (who sold us a nice vehicle to get us home), everyone went above and beyond for us. We have never encountered such a nice group of people.
Largely because of the people of Cody, we had a wonderful vacation in spite of our van troubles. You helped us turn a vacation lemon into lemonade.
Thank you so much,
The Doughertys
Pretty much sums up how we do things around here.
Have a great weekend everyone and see you at Rendezvous Royale Events next week.
