 Congratulations, Ryan!
Ryan G., 2nd grader, plays on a Canadian team that only plays in Canada. They are very prestigious and by invitation only. Ryan is very fortunate to have the ability to score many goals even though he is a right wing defenseman. He is working on defending and rushing the puck when they come down on his goalie. Good job Ryan!
 5th Grade Musical
Both fifth grade classes performed in the musical Harmony High last Wednesday, May 23rd. The show was loved by all. Thanks Miss Harper for putting on another amazing show!
Bruce Hockman Carnival at Mable
The Carnival at the Mable campus last Friday, May 25th was a huge success and all students had a blast. Popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, face painting, spin art, bounce houses, carnival games and much more were played and enjoyed by all Fairmont students from all campuses.
 3rd Grade Cultural Food Festival
On Wednesday, May 30th, both 3rd grade classes had a Cultural Food Festival to learn about the different foods of many culturals in 3rd grade. Thank you to all the parents who brought in food to make this possible.
 5th Grade Rocket Launch
Edgewood 5th graders took to the skies last week with a glorious culmination to their physics unit. For 5 weeks students painstakingly and patiently built their very own model rockets to experience Newton's Laws of Motion first hand. They boarded the bus to Anaheim Hills where each student was able to set-up and launch their rockets. The Gamma Ray rockets reached heights of 250 feet and speeds of up to 50mph and successfully found their way back to Earth's surface even with windy conditions! Edgewood would like to thank Mr. Welte for facilitating the launch and for Mr. Drake for allowing us to launch on his turf!
