Re-Enroll Today!!
Most of our families have already re-enrolled and we thank you so much for turning in your contacts. In order to reach our next goal of 85%, we are asking that those who have not re-enrolled do so right away. If we reach this goal we will have our re-enrollment carnival celebration this upcoming Friday, April 6th. We will celebrate with bounce houses, music, popcorn, and jumbo slides for students to enjoy!
1st Grade to the Ocean Institute
First Grade visited the Ocean Institute on Wednesday, March 28th in Dana Point.
This exciting new program addresses the physics of things that "Push and Pull!" Onboard and around a historic tall ship, students use scientific investigation to explore the properties of movement and force using simple machines. Students have the opportunity to experience how a simple machine can make work easier as they raise a sail, conduct halyard races, hoist cargo, and roll barrels up an inclined plane. Afterwards the students went to Tustin Sports Park for lunch and play.

Send Box Tops to School - Turn in your Box Tops. Our school will collect the Box Tops and send them to the Box Tops for Education.
Our School Earns Cash - Twice a year, Box Tops will send our school a check worth 10 cents for each Box Top redeemed, up to $20,000.

Parent Survey
You should have received an email with the annual Fairmont Parent Survey. Your feedback is valuable and we appreciate you taking the time to provide it to us. This year we are raffling off a $1,000.00 tuition discount good for the 2012-2013 school year. One winner will be drawn from each campus and all survey participants will be eligible!

Fairmont Prep's Chess Team won first place school in the Southern California Scholastic SuperStates Chess Championship held in Santa Clarita on March 24 and 25! Wali K. and Jon C. also won individual place trophies in the K-12 unrated section for 2nd place and 4th place, respectively. Fairmont's chess club meets during the week as a part of the Prep Plus Program (4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in room 260) and provides instruction from a nationally ranked chess expert every other Tuesday.
