CHOC Toy Drive
Edgewood collected 21 full boxes of toys for the children in CHOC hospital. Fairmont wants to thank you for your generosity and kindness. Every year, we look forward to this event and always want to increase our donations. Thank you again for supporting this cause.
Parking Lot Safety Rules
1) Parents need to enter the church parking lot from Vanderlip ONLY. We want to have one way traffic in that parking lot. If they ask another person (grandparent, friend etc) to pick up/drop off their child, they need to inform that person of the procedure.
2) Parents need to slow down in all the parking lots.
3) No parking on the red curb.
4) No parking in the drive-thru lane directly in front of the church.
Extracurricular Classes

1st Grade to California Science Center
The Big Lab
Edgewood first graders used their five senses as they were guided through the Exploration Grove section of The Big Lab at the California Science Center. With paper, pencil, and magnifying lens in hand, partners explored the pond and bamboo garden as they searched for insects in various stages of the life cycle. What observant recorders we became! As our investigative focus turned to ladybugs, the students watched as ladybugs crawled on our hands, opened and closed their wings, and tried so hard to roll off their backs! As a culminating activity, each set of partners dropped their "ladybug glider" from atop the Mega Tower! Aside from the Science Center, we had the opportunity to visit the Rose Garden with its amazing roses and many paths along which to enjoy the quietness of nature and beauty of color.
