Eagles Victorious Win
Fairmont Edgewood's' Junior High football team was victorious Wednesday over Heritage Christian on the Patriot's home field. Led by 6th grade quarterback Caden Sheetz the Eagles came back to win 19-12 after being down 12-6 in the second half. Running back Liam Murphy scored two touchdowns, both long runs from scrimmage. Murphy's second touchdown put the game on ice with only minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Wide receiver Nick Flores scored the other touchdown with a catch from Sheetz early in the second half. The offensive line, center Ohmer Khan and guards Alex Cousins and Osman Ali, all played extremely well Wednesday. Other standout players included Francisco Buitron, Ethan Maahs, Kieran Mital and Daniel Schneider with key defensive plays.

ActivExpressions in 4th Grade
The 4th graders had an awesome time in math class using the new ActivExpressions! Max Yoon says, "They are high-tech machines of excellence!" The students are able to send in multiple choice, numerical, and word responses electronically to the Promethean board. This helps teachers assess and check for understanding while students stay engaged and excited! Eunice Rho says, "Using the ActivExpressions is a great way to learn."
