ANNUAL BACK-TO-SCHOOL PICNIC
SILENT AUCTION REMINDER AND PARENT DONATION OPPORTUNITY
The Edgewood Campus Parent Association is organizing the Annual Back-to-School Picnic on September 24th. This is a great family event. It is a perfect opportunity for you to meet your children's friends and get to know their teachers. In addition to having the all you can eat bar-b-que, annual softball game, picnic games, and bungee trampoline, we will be having a silent auction and raffle. We need your help in gathering items to be either auctioned off or raffled. If you, or your company, have any products/services that you would be willing to donate, please contact Jennifer Leathem at jenniferleathem@sbcglobal.net. All proceeds from the auction/raffle will go to the ECPA general funds to be used at the Edgewood Campus. Don't forget, Friday, September 17th will be the last day to buy tickets to the picnic. Teacher Feature
 Kristen Jansen, Junior Kindergarten Teacher
I am very excited to be back teaching at Edgewood (I taught kindergarten here from 2000-2003). My family and I lived in Wisconsin for the last seven years. After shoveling lots of snow, we decided to return to sunny southern California. My husband Steve and I have two daughters, Sophia who is 7 and Liliana who is almost 3. They attend school at the Anaheim Hills campus. As a family, you can usually find us at Laguna Beach on the weekends. Even when it is cool and overcast, we love jumping the waves and building sand castles. We also love to go to Disneyland as often as we can.
I have seen many familiar families since I have been back. Please stop in and say hello anytime.
