Eight O'Clock Coffee partners with Green Mountain Coffee. Adds New Selection to Keurig's Portfolio.

Eight O'Clock Coffee, a member of the Tata Global Beverages family of brands, has reached a multi-year agreement with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) to make Eight O'Clock coffee, Tetley tea, and Good Earth tea available in K-Cup and Vue packs for Keurig single cup brewing systems. Beginning in fall 2012, a selection of Eight O'Clock coffee K-Cup packs will be available in Canada and the United States, with Tetley teas in the US and Good Earth teas in the US and Canada intending to join the K-Cup pack collection in 2013.


"For generations, millions of coffee lovers have enjoyed brewing the fresh taste of high-quality Eight O'Clock coffee. Now they will have a whole new, convenient way to make America's original gourmet coffee with Keurig, America's favorite single cup brewing system," says David Allen, senior VP, sales and marketing, US region, Tata Global Beverages. "We look forward to working with GMCR to make the top-selling whole bean coffee brand into a successful single cup coffee."

Land Rover Celebrates 25 Years in the US

Land Rover's luxury flagship model, the Range Rover was officially introduced to the United States 25 years ago this year. To celebrate this milestone, Land Rover hosted a special celebration in conjunction with the New York Auto Show and invited consumers to an urban off-road adventure where they drove 2012 model year vehicles at a custom-made course in the heart of New York City's meatpacking district. In the past quarter century, the growth and acceptance of the Land Rover brand in the U.S. marks a true product and brand success story. A team of associates from TCS won the "People's Choice" award at the ninth International Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge with their interactive game called Velu the Welder. The international challenge was jointly organized by the US National Science Foundation (NSF) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), publisher of journal Science, to celebrate the grand tradition of visualization, specifically for communicating science, engineering and technology for education and journalistic purposes. The TCS team developed an interactive game called "Velu the Welder" for personal computers and popular gaming consoles to help school drop-outs in India develop a highly marketable trade skill.  Read more.

 

Tonight Show host Jay Leno, owner of one of the largest and most eclectic car collections on the planet, has now added a Tata Nano to his collection. Leno expressed his desire to try the Tata Nano when he met Ratan Tata, Chairman of Tata Sons and Tata Motors, in London. A few months later, a custom Tata Nano sporting a design inspired by the Indian national flag rolled off Tata Motors' production line in Gujarat, India bound for Los Angeles. As the car headed from the West Coast of India to the West Coast of the United States, Leno shared his enthusiasm.  "I am very excited to have the world's most affordable car coming to LA for me to try out."
