Tata Business Support Services Hiring in Florida

Tata Business Support Services (TBSS), an India-headquartered company, is creating jobs in Florida at a time they are needed most.  As Florida's November 2010 unemployment rate hit 12% and several businesses started the Holiday Season with layoffs, TBSS recruited 20 new employees in the Florida facility.

"The unemployment rate in our county is slightly higher than that of the national average," said Shannon Ogletree of TEAM Santa Rosa, adding that recruitment during a period of unemployment produces a highly qualified applicant pool, allowing companies to gain top-notch employees. TEAM  Santa Rosa promotes workforce development in Santa Rosa County, where TBSS is located.

Meanwhile, growth in the Florida office is expected to continue. Most recently, with the support of TEAM Santa Rosa and Workforce Escarosa, an organization that connects businesses with the workforce, TBSS recruited 15 additional employees for a January 2011 training class that is a precursor to fulltime employment.
