Innovation at Tata Attracts Large Gathering at Harvard's "Future of Energy" Series

Tata Quality Management Services Chief Sunil Sinha was recently featured in Harvard University's "Future of Energy" series. Mr. Sinha's talk, "The Innovation Equation at Tata" attracted an audience of over 200 Harvard faculty and students and addressed energy and innovation as they relate to the Tata group and broadly, to India. The Tata Nano car also figured prominently in Mr. Sinha's speech. Since its debut in the Indian market in 2008, the Tata Nano has received several innovation awards.  Read more.

Tata Ltd. Invests in U.S. Renewable Energy Startup and MIT Spinout, Sun Catalytix Corporation

Tata Sons' subsidiary Tata Ltd. led the $9.5 million financing round for Sun Catalytix Corporation, an energy storage and renewable fuels company. The financing will support continued development of the company's breakthrough catalyst technology. Ralf Speth, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover, has also joined the Sun Catalytix board as a representative of Tata. Read more.

B. Muthuraman gave the keynote address at a discussion titled  "India, Latin America, and the United States" at the Council of the Americas, in Washington D.C, on October 12, 2010.

Tata and First Book  Build on Robust Partnership: Gift more than 100,000 Books

This Fall Tata Sons, Tata Technologies and General Chemical Industrial Products joined with First Book� and the students of Garfield Elementary School in Livonia, MI and the New Sage Elementary School in Rock Springs, WY for lively reading activities. Building on Tata's national partnership with First Book�, an award winning social enterprise, the reading parties kicked off donations of 10,000  and 5,000 books in the Detroit Metropolitan area and the state of Wyoming, respectively. Since 2007 Tata companies have donated over 100,000 books to low income children throughout the United States. Read more.
