Green cleaning techniques offer tangible financial benefits, including:
· Improved health of building occupants; reduced sick days
· Reduced liability from worker safety issues
· Lower utility costs (water and electricity saved)
· Lower trash disposal costs
· Improved productivity and morale of building occupants
· Recognition in the community for minimizing resource waste and reducing the release of pollutants
An effective green cleaning program involves procedures that maximize cleaning results while protecting cleaning workers, facility occupants, and the building itself.
Proper training of cleaning staff is critical to a successful program.
Recent advances in chemical technology (as well as equipment design) have created products that are as effective as traditional cleaners, but without harsh ingredients, offering you and our cleaning staff a cleaner and safer work environment. |
| Cleaning Products that are Safe, Effective and Environmentally Friendly
· Green Seal certified low-VOC products · No bleach, ammonia, scouring powder, or aerosols · We feature Johnson Wax Professional™ janitorial chemicals which minimize packaging to reduce landfill costs · Crews trained in safety and OSHA mandates; MSDS book provided to clients |
| Recycled Paper Products
We feature Kimberly-Clark's EPA and Green Seal certified paper towels and toilet paper made from 100% recycled fiber |
Health & Indoor Air Quality We use the Johnson Diversey "Healthy High Performance Cleaning" program, the only cleaning system currently certified under Greenguard Environmental Institute's Product Emissions Standard for Children & Schools.
· HEPA vacuums capture spores, pollen, airborne bacteria, and dust mite feces - lots of allergens - 99.97 % of all particles down to 0.3 microns in diameter. Traditional paper bags let fine particles (and most allergens) through - particles that remain airborne up to eight hours after passing through the vacuum. · Tile vacuumed, not dust-mopped. · Microfiber damp mops · No feather dusters - Microfiber dust wipes trap dust and remove it from your building. · Filtered floor burnishers.
We measure Indoor Air Quality ongoing and generally observe significant improvement over standard cleaning methodology (averaging a bit over 50% reduction in airborne particulates). Written reports, from initial readings onward, are available. |
TouchPoint Sanitation
The places we touch every day: doorknobs and jambs, push plates, railings, elevator buttons, phones, faucets, towel dispensers, light switches. We use Johnson Wax's new Hydrogen Peroxide cleaner/sanitizer, Alpha HP, as an effective cleaner and sanitizer of touchpoints throughout your building. Microfiber damp wipes allow thorough cleaning and help avoid cross-contamination. |
