Health Tips!

Having problems losing weight?  Ask yourself a question ... and be honest with your answer:

Do you really want to lose the weight?

If your honest answer was "yes" then you WILL lose the weight, once you decide you are willing to do what it takes to make it happen!

But if in answering honestly, you had to say, "No" then you have already made the decision.  You will NOT lose that weight.

Your will is very powerful ... that and your words!  If you really, really want to lose that weight, start "saying" to yourself each morning ...

"Body!  You will lose the weight!  You will maintain your metabolism, you will exercise, and you will submit to MY WILL as "I" decide that this will happen!"

And then you go out and  MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Jerry Savelle always says, "If it's mean to be ... it is up to me!"

You need to realize one important fact in weight loss.  It is not going to happen because you bought a new weight set, or got a cool looking workout outfit!  Nor is it going to work if you sign up with the local gym!  If you don't USE THESE ITEMS, then you are not going to see results!

"If it's mean to be ... it is up to me!"  Remember that!

The more you work out, the better you feel!  And the better you feel, the more energy you have!  Seriously!  So go out there and make-it-happen!

A Word from pastor Richbanner - WORD CHURCH -(sm).jpg

A Time to Live and a Time to Die

In everything, there is a time for it to be, and a time for it to pass, a time to live, and a time to die.   But often we continue to breath life into death things that we hate to let go.

Ever have something in your life that you just need to "cut off" and drop away from your routine, or from the things you have on your plate?  I do!  And very often I find it very difficult to remember to analyze the things I am involved in ... is it God's deal, or is it mine?

All too often we keep breathing life into dead embers, reviving a fire that is just meant to die.  Take a survey of the many things you have in your life.  Consider them and see which ones need to be "pruned" away, so that the overall tree (you) may flourish.

You will find that, with the pruning away of the things you have that draw from your energies, you will feel stronger and more "free"!  Try it!

Make me proud!
